High fashion skateboard from Versace!?

Italian fashion house Versace has just entered the world of skateboarding, by launching a complete skateboard in their iconic Crete de Fleur pattern.

This follows shortly after Louis Vuitton launched a pro-model sneaker collaboration with Lucien Clarke. I can imagine that skate shoe being skated more than this board, to be honest.

The spec of this board is, according to the Versace website:

“Crafted from high-quality wood“
“Outer fabric: 100% Wood”

So, at least we know it’s not a polyprop. It doesn’t mention the griptape, which appears to be that snazzy glued-up gravel with graphics top and bottom.
