DIG! We dig the new Butter Goods Charles Mingus video!

If you suspected Butter were jazzy, now you know they are.

This video is cool. Charles Mingus' "Scenes in The City" is a bone-fide classic, and could anything be more suitable for the art of skateboarding in the city!?

Join Ben Gore, Josh Robertson and the Butter crew exploring freeform manipulation of the urban scene. They're building on the once incomprehensible tradition of jazz in skate videos. I suppose the first must've been Mark Gonzales in Video Days, followed soon after by Stereo's A Visual Sound, and more recently by the good dudes at Skateboard Café. Actually, thinking again, there's some pretty jazzy tunes in the original Bones Brigade Video Show, and that's effectively the first skateboard video ever.

Take this as inspiration and get out and get freaky in the city!
